“Whatever its interior limitations by modern standards, it remains a 19th century architectural gem,” that Club founders rightfully preserved and leveraged as what is now a unique clubhouse of immense character with a sweeping porch where many a Sunday New York Times has been read, and a recently added flagstone patio where members and visitors gather instinctively after the day’s activities.
